- Ladies’ hat, home made in 1940s in Latvia
- It is made from dark grey wool gabardine with a soft matte sheen, shaped over a gently structured form
- Slihgtly worn
- The crown is softly padded and asymmetrical. The hat sits close to the head in a forward-tilting style typical of the period. At one side, a large folded bow-like detail forms the focal point. Visible panel seams and hand-shaped contours suggest careful handmade construction.
