- Short brown valenki, sole attached with some nails and strings. Valenki (or felt boots) were and still are traditional Russian winter footwear, intended for snowy, cold winters. To make them waterproof, galoshes were worn over them
- Those boots are worn, the sole is fragile and boots should be used together with galoshes or indoors
